Buffalo Chicken Dip

Video below on how to make this crowd-pleasing, touchdown of an appetizer

Are you ready for some football? And some buffalo chicken dip? This is one of the best and easiest appetizers, and perfect for the football and Fall season! It only requires 5 ingredients, and can be made quickly! And it's so good. I mean, SO GOOD. You may end up just wanting to eat the entire crock of dip on your own. Seriously. It's that good.

Ingredients/Recipe:

  • 3--4 chicken breasts, seasoned with salt and pepper

  • 1/2 cup of chicken broth (if cooking the chicken in crockpot, not needed if cooking chicken in the oven)

  • 1/2  cup of ranch dressing

  • 1/2 cup of buffalo wing sauce

  • 1/2 cup of shredded colby-jack or cheddar cheese

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

 Putting it Together:

Cook chicken breasts, either in the crockpot with 1/2 cup of chicken broth, on low for 2 hours. Or, cook chicken in the oven at 350, for 35-40 minutes. Either way you choose to cook, ensure the chicken is fully cooked. When chicken is done, shred up in crockpot, then add the other 4 ingredients; buffalo sauce, ranch dressing, shredded cheese, and cream cheese. Mix all together, and then place on low in the crockpot for 45 minutes to an hour, mixing a few times if you are able. After this, place on warm.

 Serving:

This can be served/eaten with veggies, or bread, or crackers, or maybe even something cool that I don’t even know about.

Load of Crock Tip(s):

  • This is good with everything, but if you put this on a crusty bread, I promise you, you will not regret it

  • The buffalo sauce can be your sauce of choice, whatever kind, flavor and spice you like best

  • For a healthier option, you can substitute Greek yogurt for the cream cheese and choose light ranch dressing

A true crowd pleaser, whether tailgating, watching the game at home, or just enjoying a nice Fall gathering. I would even go as far to say, this appetizer is a total touchdown. Gosh, I love lame humor. Enjoy!
