Homemade Guacamole

Rock the guac, baby! We recently had a taco night for dinner, and I decided to hit up an old guacamole recipe that I have been using since roughly 2004…yes, I started making guac when I was 10, it’s no big deal. Ok, fine, I wasn’t 10. Or even 20, but this is straying from the point. This is an easy and flavorful recipe that, regardless of how old I was when I began making, has been pleasing crowds for 16 years.

 Ingredients/Recipe (this makes roughly a 1 1/4- 1 1/2 cups of guac):

  • 2 ripe avocados

  • 2 tsp. of tabasco sauce

  • 2 tbsp. of lime juice

  • 2 tbsp. of lemon juice

  • Salt, pepper and some onion seasoning, to your liking/to taste

 Putting it Together:

Mash up your avocados and then add the rest of the ingredients, mixing all together. If you like your guacamole creamy, you can add more of the liquid ingredients to do so.

 Serving:

I like to serve with some nice, salty chips, but also is great on some thin, crusty bread, or a good option for dipping veggies in! To be really transparent, I have been known to serve with a spoon, directly into my mouth. Recommended for anyone wanting to take a walk on the wild side.

 Load of Crock Tip(s):

If you want to add some chunk to your guac, consider some cut up onion or tomatoes, as they are great additions for a thicker dish.

#rocktheguac and enjoy!
