Video below on how to make this 5-ingredient, exceptionally delicious, beef tip recipe
Have you heard the beef tip? Eat chicken. C'mon, that kills at parties. It actually doesn't. Don't use it. However, for this recipe, the only beef tip will be "eat me, I am delicious!" A 5-ingredient beef tips recipe for the crockpot that requires you to just dump in the 5 ingredients (plus salt and pepper), mix up, and forget about for 6-7 hours. Long day of work? Tip: make this! Big Saturday full of plans that won't have you back home until late in the day? Tip: Throw this in the crockpot! Don't really feel like making a day of cooking in the kitchen? Tip: Just mix up these 5 ingredients and get on with it! Truly, this beef tips and rice recipe could be the best tip you've ever gotten.
Ingredients/Recipe:
2 lbs. of beef stew meat
1 can (10.75 ounces) of cream of mushroom soup
1 beef bullion cube
Brown gravy mix that makes 2 cups of gravy (most packets make 1 cup of gravy, so you would want to get 2 packets for this)
Salt
Pepper
1 cup of water
Putting it Together:
Season beef with some onion flakes and a little salt and pepper, and place in the crockpot. Add the other 4 ingredients, then mix all together, ensuring all the beef gets nicely coated with all ingredients. Place on low for 6-7 hours.
Serving:
We served this over white rice and it was a perfect combo! This could also be eaten solo, with steamed vegetables, or with noodles of some kind. I have also heard it is lovely over a plate of mashed potatoes.
Load of Crock Tip(s):
If you prefer your meat a little more pink, cook for 6-6.5 hours and if you prefer it more well done, cook closer to the 7-hour mark
Red wine tastes delicious with this one, but just a suggestion
This makes me so hungry, I have not been able to stop eating it. And I promise, this is the last tip: Enjoy!
