Apple Barbecue Pork Loin

Video below on how to make this 3-ingredient dish

Ok, friends, say the name of this recipe out loud: apple barbecue pork loin. Excellent. Now say out loud, these are the only ingredients I need when I go to the grocery store. That's right. Only three ingredients and all in the name of the meal. So, it's not only easy to make, it's also easy if you get to the grocery store and realize you forgot your list of ingredients at home.

Ingredients/Recipe:

  • 1 pork loin fillet

  • 1 cup of barbecue sauce

  • 1 can of apple fruit filling

Putting it Together:

Spray the crockpot on the sides and bottom, then place the pork loin fillet in the crockpot. Cover the pork with the barbecue sauce and the apple fruit filling. Cook on low for 4-5 hours, until the pork is tender and cooked through.

Serving:

Remove the pork loin from the crockpot and cut up for serving. Before serving, spoon some of the barbecue and apple sauce from the crockpot over the cut up pieces of pork. This dish pairs well with many things, but a classic is always baked or mashed potatoes, and a vegetable such as corn or glazed carrots.

Load of Crock Tip(s):

  • Take advantage of the BBQ and apple fruit sauce when serving, it can really help bring out some great flavors once cooked

  • This can also be a great leftover eaten as a pulled pork sandwich, so don’t be afraid to shred up and put on a bun

In case you just got super pumped about making this really easy dish and left your house with your grocery list, remember, the only ingredients you need are the three in the name of the recipe. Enjoy!
