Chicken Bacon Ranch Sandwiches

Video below on how to make these super simple sandwiches

Chicken bacon ranch sandwiches, one of the easiest crockpot recipes you are going to find. Only 4 main ingredients, plus your favorite seasonings for chicken, served on whatever type of bread or bun you prefer. When you are finished and eating this, you will wonder if you even really cooked anything. Seriously. That. Easy.

Ingredients/Recipe:

  • 3-4 chicken breasts (fresh/thawed, not frozen) seasoned to your liking (salt, pepper, onion, etc.)

  • 1/2 Cup of ranch dressing

  • 8 oz of cream cheese

  • 1 package of bacon (or 2 or 3, nobody's judging, it’s BACON)

  • Buns or bread of your choice

  • Cheese for the sandwich, a personal choice, but I recommend American if you do, it melts nicely over the chicken

Putting it Together:

Spray your crockpot, sides and bottom, and place chicken breasts on bottom of crockpot. Add in the ranch dressing and cream cheese. Place crockpot on low for 4-5 hours.

While chicken is cooking in the crockpot, cook the bacon in the oven, I recommend at 350 degrees, and long enough so the bacon is crispy. Once the bacon has cooled off, break up into good sized bacon chunks.

Once chicken is cooked and the crockpot is done, shred chicken up in the crockpot, and then add the bacon chunks, mixing up until all nicely mixed together.

Serving:

Scoop your preferred amount of the chicken bacon ranch mix on your bread or bun of choice, and if you are feeling crazy, place a piece of cheese overtop. Eat immediately. Which I can tell you, won’t be an issue.

Load of Crock Tip(s):

  • To make even easier, you can always use bacon bits which allows you to skip the cooking of the bacon step of the recipe

  • If you are looking to make this a little healthier, buy the 1/3 less fat cream cheese and use light ranch
